Client eligibility
Our service provides meals to adults 60 years of age or older and disabled adults 18 years or older who are home bound and unable by reason of disability or handicap to prepare their own meals. At this time we can only service inside the loop from the interstate to Yukon. There is no charge for eligible clients provided adequate funding is available. Donations are suggested; however, if someone is unable to donate for the suggested amount they can give what they can afford. We do offer a Private Pay program.

Delivery schedule, area
Our service provides meals to adults 60 years of age or older and disabled adults 18 years or older who are home bound and unable by reason of disability or handicap to prepare their own meals. Individuals may call in and refer themselves, or they may be referred by doctors, community service agencies, or relatives and friends. Call: 333-6451

Each meal is delivered hot in a reheatable microwave-safe container, by a volunteer. Meals are delivered between the hours of 10:30 am and 2:00 pm Monday through Friday. When needed, a frozen weekend meal may be provided.

Nutritional facts
These meals are low sodium and provide 1/3 of the daily nutritional requirements for older Americans. All recipes are are reviewed by a nutritionist and prepared by a experienced culinary staff. Meals on Wheels can also provide a meal suitable for diabetics.
